Election 2012: Protecting Women's Health Is a Good Investment

No matter how you look at it, women's health IS a good investment!

If the election taught us anything it’s that you can’t write off women’s health issues as inconsequential. With the greatest gender gap in presidential history, women made the difference this election. Candidates like Todd Akin and Richard Mourdock, who became famous with their extreme rhetoric, lost. Women sent a clear message on Election Day—women’s health matters.

For those who contributed to help us protect women's health and rights in this election – it worked. Out of all outside groups, Planned Parenthood Action and Planned Parenthood Votes had the highest success rate by far.
