He Said What?!? Herman Cain Explains the Gender Gap

Everyone knows Mitt Romney has a problem with women, and a new poll out today from the Washington Post/ABC News reiterates that point. According to the poll, President Obama leads Romney by 19 points among women. This comes shortly after last week’s USA Today/Gallup poll that showed Obama leading Romney by 18 points among women in swing states.
Failed presidential candidate and businessman Herman Cain (who has had his fair share of problems with women) offered his opinion on why Obama leads among women: they are simply uninformed:
CAIN: Yes, President Obama is very likable to most people, if you just look at him and his family. But if you look at his policies, which is what most people disagree with, it’s a different story. And I think many men are much more familiar with the failed policies than a lot of other people, as well as the general public.
Women are simply uniformed? Perhaps the issue is that women are actually informed about Romney’s record on women’s health. After all, he supported the Blunt amendment, which would have allowed ANY employer to deny health insurance coverage based on a so-called “moral conviction,” and only weeks ago, he cavalierly suggested he would “get rid of” Planned Parenthood.” Women know that when it comes to their health, Romney can’t be trusted.
As Republican Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski recently said, "If you don't feel this is an attack, you need to go home and talk to your wife and your daughters."
