In the last two years, opponents of women’s health have worked tirelessly to restrict women’s access to affordable health care. They’ve attacked Planned Parenthood — which serves nearly three million patients each year at their health centers. They tried to let your employer decide whether you have access to birth control or not. And they’ve promised to repeal the Affordable Care Act (or they’ve actually VOTED to repeal it!)
That’s why Planned Parenthood advocacy organizations across the country put together a voter guide to let you know where candidates stand on women’s health issues. Because this guide is optimized for your phone, you can take it right to the polls with you. Early voting is starting in earnest in several states and will be available over the next several weeks in states around the country. So educate yourself now.
On November 6 (or before, if you vote early), make sure you vote for the candidates who will protect women’s health care — including lifesaving and preventive care — and encourage your friends and family to use the Planned Parenthood Action Fund’s 2012 Voter Guide before you vote.
