At an editorial board meeting with the Hartford Courant, Republican Senate Candidate, Linda McMahon, was asked whether she believes a Catholic hospital (including those which receive a majority of their money through federal funding) should be allowed to deny rape victims access to emergency contraception.
Her answer? Yes. Linda McMahon does think hospitals should be able to refuse to give emergency contraception to women who are raped, forcing them to shop around for emergency room care. That's not moderate; that's cruel.
