Rick Santorum Supporters Migrate to Mitt Romney
Rick Santorum may no longer be in the Republican presidential primary, but there’s no need to miss him. Mitt Romney has proven time and again he’s just like Rick. Romney and Santorum share the same anti-women’s health policy positions — whether it’s their commitment to getting “rid of” Planned Parenthood or supporting “personhood” measures — and now they even share the same endorsements.
Within hours of Santorum’s exit from the race, the Romney campaign was racing to secure the endorsements of some of the most conservative anti-women’s health leaders around. They immediately picked up the phone and called evangelical Christian leaders like American Values’ President Gary Bauer, and courted right-wing conservatives like Penny Nance, president of Concerned Women for America.
It’s no surprise that these leaders have thrown their support behind conservative, anti-women’s health candidate Mitt Romney. After all, when it comes to women’s health, his positions are just as dangerous as Rick Santorum’s. Check out the migration to Mitt below:
