Last night, women’s health champion Elizabeth Warren debated current Senator Scott Brown in Lowell, Massachusetts. During the course of the campaign, they’ve had to articulate their positions on a number of issues and answer quite a few questions. Last night was no different.
During the debate, Scott Brown was asked to name his model Supreme Court Justice? His answer: Antonin Scalia.
Yes, you read that right. Brown’s model judge is the one who is opposed to Roe v. Wade and who ruled against protecting women’s access to equal pay and the Affordable Care Act.

Brown’s support of conservative judge Antonin Scalia isn’t something to ignore — as a senator he would be involved in the confirmation process and could continue to approve judges who have taken such extreme positions on women’s health and women’s rights.
In contrast, Elizabeth Warren has stood up for women. She’s called out politicians who have worked to restrict women’s access to birth control, and even run TV spots on the issue. Warren knows: “we must not turn back the clock.” We have to protect women’s health and rights.
