WATCH: Cecile Richards on MSNBC's NOW with Alex Wagner

Yesterday, Planned Parenthood Action Fund President Cecile Richards joined NOW With Alex Wagner to discuss the role of women’s health in the 2012 election.
It was a great segment and Cecile made it clear that what politicians fail to realize is that, "For women, access to health care is an economic issue. It's an affordability issue, it's a matter of being able to plan their families, stay in school, be a productive member of society as employees."
Women’s health issues have dominated much of the discourse in this election so far, and time and again Mitt Romney has proved he’s simply out of touch. Every time he threatens to “get rid of” Planned Parenthood or says he believes the Supreme Court case that ruled states didn’t have the right to ban birth control was decided incorrectly, he proves just how dangerous a Romney presidency could be.
Even Nicolle Wallace, a Republican strategist and former spokeswoman for McCain/Palin ‘08, acknowledged just how out of touch Romney’s party is on women’s issues. She said the attack on Planned Parenthood, “says something pretty ugly about our politics.” We couldn’t agree more.
