The Affordable Care Act has done more to expand women’s access to health care than any other piece of legislation in more than a generation.
It allows women to make the health care choices they need based solely on what is best, not just what they can afford. And without it, women may not get the preventive care, early detection tests, or cancer treatments that they need. So it’s no wonder that hundreds of supporters turned out at a rally on the steps of the Supreme Court to hear from patients and families whose lives have already changed and will change by the time the health care law is fully implemented.
