What’s the matter with Michigan? On the heels of the November election where voters soundly rejected a number of anti-women’s health candidates in their home state and re-elected President Obama in Michigan with a 15-point gender gap, out-of-touch lawmakers have continued to pursue an anti-women’s health agenda.
Thousands of people gathered on the worn-down lawn of the Michigan statehouse on one of the coldest days of the year to send a message that out-of-touch lawmakers should back down from their attacks on working families and women’s access to reproductive health care services.
